What we welcome

Pitch reported explainers, cultural analysis, essays and practical reader-focused pieces grounded in a clear question. Strong proposals show why the subject matters beyond one match or news cycle and make room for context and more than one perspective.

What to include

Use the Contact page to send a short outline, the central question, the intended reader and a note on the material you would draw on. Tell us whether the piece is original and whether it has been offered elsewhere. Do not send confidential, private or sensitive information.

We cannot promise publication or a response time, and a pitch is not an assignment. Please do not submit a complete article unless we have requested one. Contributors should be able to support factual statements and disclose relevant interests.
